Imagine the perfect valentine!
It is so much fun to play with my Imagine! This is my first Valentine this year and I am in love!
Recipe:
Lori's Garden : "love" cut, color for background, color for blossoms.
Mother's Day Bouquet: blossoms
Cuttlebug Swiss Dots Embossing folder
Scraps of Lace
Glaze Pen (accent the word "love")
Holtz' Distress Ink (Antique Linen)
Copics to accent the flowers
Assorted glues
Wooden skewer
For the blossoms: I discovered that if I lightly colored the back of my flower petals with the Copics I had a very natural shading on the front side. In order to have the petals curve I rolled the petals over the wooden skewer. It worked perfectly and I think you'll agree that the flowers look very real. The bud is really a leaf shape, curved tightly at the base.
I know that you will see more of the Mother's Day cart from me. It just simply provides too many things to "imagine!"
Until next time, Nonna
Beautiful card. I love the subtle colors and the flowers on this card. TFS
